BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – It’s hot in Bladen County, but it’s about to get even hotter.
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for the county, effective from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 5.
The feel-like temperature will be between 105 and 107 degrees due to air temperatures in the 90s and high humidity, according to the NWS weather alert.
Be cautious, stay hydrated, wear light-weight clothing and take frequent breaks when exposed to the extreme heat.
