Lemonade stand in Elizabethtown raises money for kids' programs | Community Spirit

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) — A group called MomsRising.org, along with Together NC, set up a lemonade stand outside the Corner Café in Elizabethtown Monday, June 6.

The group plans to raise money for kids’ programs and call attention to the state budget.

The stand sold lemonade from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at 101 East Broad St.

The group raised a couple hundred dollars which was delivered to the NC Department of Revenue for deposit into the General Fund.
