McIntyre to visit Bladenboro for federal-funds presentation
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre will be paying Bladenboro a visit on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
McIntyre will join officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to present federal funds to Four County EMC and Lumbee River EMC at the Bladenboro Town Hall beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Four County EMC and Bladen’s Bloomin’ will provide $1 million in funds to Bladen Healthcare in order to renovate space and purchase equipment for an operational health care clinic, according to a news release from McIntyre.
Meanwhile, Lumbee River EMC will provide $250,000 to Robeson County for improvements at the detention center that will reportedly create jobs.
