BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Two suspects from Clarkton face charges after allegedly attempting to take items from a home.
Adam Lee Sessoms, 16, and Jonathon O’Brian Owens, 20, were charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen property, according to Cpt. Rodney Hester with the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded to a call Monday regarding a breaking and entering in the 400 block of Old Tram Road in Clarkton.
Upon arrival, they saw that Sessoms and Owens had entered the home and taken several items, including a window air conditioning unit and scrap metal that had been placed in the back of a pickup truck.
The property was returned back to the owner once she arrived, and the truck was seized and towed to Bladen County Operations.
Sessoms and Owens were released from jail under $3,000 bonds.
