BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Detectives with the Bladen County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit found nearly 200 marijuana plants growing in a field.
An anonymous tip led officers to the plants in Tar Heel. They were growing in a grassy area by the Bladen-Robeson line.
The plants had a street value of about $210,000 and were cut down and destroyed last week.
No arrests have been made in connection to the growing operation.
If you have any information about the plants, you can call the Narcotics Unit at 910-862-6777. Tips made to the sheriff's office will remain anonymous.
