BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A woman living in the Council area of Bladen County said a man fired shots into her home last Tuesday night.
The woman told the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office that 30-year-old Jason Demartrice Marriner got out of his white Ford Crown Victoria and fired several shots at her residence. Deputies stopped Marriner’s vehicle in the Clarkton town limits and found a Cobray D-45 handgun in Marriner’s boot, according to Captain Rodney Hester.
Marriner was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and four counts of attempted murder. He was given a $2.1 million secured bond.
Another Clarkton man was arrested during the incident. Anthony Lee Parker Jr., 24, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and four counts of conspiracy to commit murder. Parker was given a $1.3 million secured bond.
Both men were in the Bladen County Jail at the time of this post, Hester said.
